Message from the Chairman – 15 Feb 2018
Recent rumours regarding the potential sale of the Castle, have resulted in questions about the future of the golf club.
Well, just to reassure the local population I can tell you that we, the golf club have a lease onthe land including the course and the Club House that lasts until 2030.
Our club provides a leisure facility for a number of local people and a friendly meeting place.
The course, as you will know is kept in great condition, with wonderful views of the surrounding country side.
What we do need is more members!
Whether you have played before or have done so in the past, male or female, young or not so, you will be welcomed. We can run introductory lessons and even loan clubs and balls.
If you want to keep fit, the course is the place for you.
Worried about the time it will take?
Well play nine holes, six or whatever you have time for.
Why not come as a group to give it a try?
It is your local facility so why not use it and maybe meet new neighbours. £320 for the year from April if you decide to join and you can play every day, that’s cheap!
