Community space consultation results

The Village Hall trustees would like to thank all the residents of Oswaldkirk who took the opportunity to look at our display boards and who completed questionnaires, or otherwise shared their views. It was heartening to see the level of response.

The results, which you can see below, show that there is enthusiasm for having some land, particularly the largest option, behind the Village Hall. Some people also expressed concern about the way in which the disposal of the current village playground might take place.

It has been very helpful to us to hear everyone’s thoughts and we are now embarking upon the gathering of information and estimates, in line with guidance from the Charity Commission and advice from Community First Yorkshire. This information will assist us in the decision-making process, which we will present to the residents of Oswaldkirk at a public meeting, in accordance with the deeds of conveyance of Oswaldkirk Village Hall.
