January 2020 – Felixkirk

This month’s walk starts and finishes at The Carpenter’s Arms at Felixkirk where we will also be having lunch.  There is usually plenty of car parking spaces available.

The walk is 4.7 miles over undulating countryside.  As it is January we expect there to be a number of areas where it is muddy underfoot so waterproof footwear is essential. There are a number of stiles, all in OK condition but not all providing for dogs.  There were also a few fields with sheep/horses so it cannot be described as dog friendly (final decision is at owner’s discretion).  It’s a lovely walk crossing a couple of small streams, which we will check are still crossable nearer the time.
