Ryedale has a number of Visitor Information Points that provide free town maps, attractions leaflets and free Wi-Fi. These are at:
- Malton Visitor Information Point, Ryedale House, Old Malton Road, MALTON, YO17 7HH.
Open Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:00. - Helmsley Community Library, Town Hall, Helmsley, YORK, YO62 5BL.
Open Tuesday – Thursday 10:00 – 13.00, Friday 08:30 – 16:00, and Saturday 10:00 – 13:00.

Local Newspapers and Free Community Magazines
In addition to being sources of local news and information, they can be useful contacts for publicising local group, organisation or club regular meetings or events, for birth, marriage or death announcements, or if you’re planning an event or fundraiser that you would like to be advertised. The ‘freebies’ advertise a wide range of local service providers. The newspapers are also happy to report on anything newsworthy or of interest which has happened, or is being planned in Oswaldkirk.
