Length: 5.1 Miles
This walk is 5.1 miles on mainly flat terrain and starts/finishes at Nunnington at the bottom of the village hill at the corner where the footpath bridge crosses the river (not the road bridge) – marked with an X on the map below. Parking is available along the road. Footwear, should be chosen according to the weather prior to the walk as there are a number of grass fields to cross. The walk starts at 10am and is approx 4 hours which allows a snack break (provided by yourselves) half way. Lunch will be at The Worsley Arms in Hovingham at 2.30 pm – menu choices below. This September walk is the first walk since the summer break so it will be a pleasure to see you all again.
